Buffalo Business First has named Copier Fax Business Technologies one of WNY’s Top Private Companies. This award is honored to Buffalo’s most dynamic and progressive private companies, with rankings based on annual sales of at least $5 million for years beginning in 2012. All Top Private Companies were verified by Dopkins & Company LLP. Copier Fax CIO David Scibetta will be accepting the honor at this year’s celebration on November 14th at the Lexus Club in the First Niagara Center. The company made major efforts for increasing their sales profits over the past three years, through the introduction of Documentelligence, the opening of a second location in Rochester, NY, and their recent partnership with the Buffalo Sabres. This expansion of services and locations has been key to their continual success.
The Week in Imaging and ENX Magazine has selected Copier Fax Business Technologies as a 2014 Elite Dealer. This award is granted to independent dealers who have made remarkable strides in their field. Copier Fax Business Technologies has become well-known for providing superior products and services to the Buffalo and Rochester area. The implementation of Documentelligence, their recent partnership with the Buffalo Sabres, and their long-standing commitment to providing outstanding customer service have all equally contributed to their win. Buffalo, NY (CFBT) – It’s a tale of two companies, both committed to Downtown Buffalo, committing to each other.
Copier Fax Business Technologies– in conjunction with Konica/Minolta– has been named “The Official Office Technology Company of the Buffalo Sabres.”
“All of the output devices that the Buffalo Sabres and Rochester Americans use, will be Konica Minolta products supplied by Copier Fax Business Technologies,” says CFBT owner Al Scibetta.
Scibetta calls the agreement “a no-brainer,” solidifying the commitment he, his wife Andrea and his son David, all business partners, have made to downtown Buffalo.
A decade ago, The Scibettas moved their business headquarters downtown to the Rocco Termini “Washington Market” development. Their affection for the area continuously deepened, so last year, they sold their Williamsville home to move into a Penthouse on the fourth floor of the same development which houses their business at street level.
As they officially join The Buffalo Sabres in their efforts to revitalize the southern end of downtown at the waterfront, development at downtown’s northern end– The Medical Campus– has actually grown to meet them.
“Just look at the cranes in the air. You can feel the groundswell,” says Scibetta. “Even on just our block, it’s a downtown neighborhood that’s transformed itself in the last ten years, and now Catholic Health– 700 people moving in right behind us. That extends the foot print of the Medical Campus.”
While the Scibettas are happy with the business boom in their downtown neighborhood, they also like the growing sense of neighborhood. They see more foot traffic for their own business and businesses around them. Andrea Scibetta became a charter member of the brand new Rotary Club established at the Medical Campus.
“It’s where we work, and where we live. It’s a real community,” says Al. “Everywhere you look, there are signs of this place just exploding.” He’s glad CFBT can contribute even more through their new partnership with the Buffalo Sabres. It’s a good piece of business that will help him continue to grow in downtown Buffalo. “It’s just one more step.”
The deal calls for CFBT and Konica Minolta to provide office technology for the Sabres and the Rochester Americans for at least the next three years, through the 2017-18 hockey season.
